The San Jose Sports Authority is a non-profit organization whose mission is to increase the City of San Jose’s economic development, visibility and civic pride through sports.  Serving as the City's sports commission since its inception in 1991, the Sports Authority has provided leadership and support to attract or host hundreds of sporting events in San Jose and the South Bay.

HP Pavilion at San Jose, owned by the City of San Jose, is Northern California's premier sports and entertainment venue.  The arena handles more than 90 sporting events annually, including more than 40 Sharks regular season home games, boxing, tennis, Arena Football and Strikeforce. The building plays hosts to 120-180 events every year -- including Olympic athletes, Grammy award-winners and a variety of family and children's favorites that account for more than 275 event days.

Team San Jose is an innovative partnership unifying the San Jose Convention and Visitors Bureau, hotels, arts, labor and venues to deliver an exceptional visitor experience and serve as the gateway to San Jose as a destination.  Our company manages the San Jose Convention Center and Arts and Entertainment venues Pavilion at San Jose, owned by the City of San Jose, is Northern California's premiere sports and entertainment venues including the California Theatre, the Center for the Performing Arts, Montgomery Theater, Parkside Hall, San Jose Civic and South Hall.
